Scooping Up Opportunities In Liberia

July 7, 2025

When we first met Linda C. Paye, she told us all about the dairy business she had built and her entrepreneurial drive that started when she was very young. She later walked us through her bustling kitchen — a home-based operation where creamy yogurt, smooth chocolate, and rich ice cream were all made entirely by hand. No automation. No big machines. Just determination, a few freezers, and a commitment to creating quality products people love.

What impressed us most wasn’t just the taste (though yes, her products are legit). It was her vision: to create simple, delicious dairy products that put a smile on people’s faces — and a business that generates quality jobs for women and youth.

From Kitchen to Community

We followed Linda from her production space to the front lines of her business — local universities and marketplaces where her team of outgoing, energetic sales agents were proudly offering her treats. She’s already selling across campuses like the University of Liberia (Fendall and Capitol Hill), and the Red Light Market. These are places where visibility and branding matter — and she was doing it all without formal signage or retail tools.

So, we stepped in.

What We’re Doing to Help

Baurau is proud to help Linda grow her business and reach more people than ever before. Here’s how we’re supporting her journey:

  • New Equipment – We’ve begun the process of acquiring her first industrial ice cream machine. It will allow her to produce larger quantities with greater consistency — a crucial step in serving more customers and restaurants.
  • Branding Support – Our design team helped develop new point-of-sale visuals that help her stand out in crowded markets and attract new customers.
  • A New Website – We’ve built a professional, mobile-friendly site that tells Linda’s story, showcases her products, and allows future partners or investors to see the potential. You can visit it at: linscreamydairy.com
  • Business Guidance – Along the way, we’re offering hands-on mentorship and strategic advice — from scaling production to helping secure her first restaurant clients for wholesale supply.

What’s Next

Linda is now preparing to launch an expanded line of ice cream flavors with the capacity to serve restaurants — a significant shift from street sales to wholesale distribution. With increased production, stronger branding, and targeted outreach, she’s laying the foundation for a thriving, scalable dairy enterprise.

We believe in Linda — because she believes in Liberia.

And we’re honored to help build something that not only feeds people — but empowers them too.
