On October 15th, the Baurau team will embark on a pivotal journey to Liberia and Ethiopia, marking the official start of our Discovery phase. This trip will serve as the foundation for identifying investment opportunities that align with our mission of building for-profit ventures designed to uplift communities and grow Africa’s local economies.
During our time in Liberia and Ethiopia, we will meet with key local leaders, entrepreneurs, and government officials to understand the most pressing needs and promising opportunities. Our goal is to explore industries where our investments can make the greatest impact, from infrastructure to business development, ensuring that every venture we fund contributes to long-term, sustainable growth.
This is the first step in Baurau’s journey to reinvest all profits back into the countries we serve. Our approach is guided by collaboration with local experts and our team’s deep connections to Africa, from our founders who hail from the continent to Brian’s personal ties through adoption.
